This was Hudson's face as we sang Happy Birthday. I'm not sure that he realized the party was for him until right at this point. Ha! And yes, we were really fancy with a blanket on the ground and cookies on paper napkins. But the train cookies were yum-my!
Yay! Veggie Tales Jonah ship! This was the only thing he asked for, I think he liked it!
I've been a little skimpy on blogs lately and that is mostly because we have been going through some terrible two's/three's with Hudson. It's been a rough month here at our house. We are thankful that God's mercies are new every morning! And we are leaning on Him to guide us on how to parent our little man! It sounds like we'll be on our knees through the next year too, we've been told that three is the new two! Super! More to come on our big three year old!!

Happy birthday sweet little man! Really THREE already? Go easy on your mama OK? If it helps any, 2 and a half to three and a half was so fun and then it got much better - pretty sure we're about to be where you are with Rachel! Love and miss you friend!
"Three is the new two" - hilarious! But, unfortunately, I think it is true! I am sure God is guiding all of you to a place He has intended. Praying it comes quickly! And praying Hudson is eating his turkey better these days (I still laugh out loud when I think of him gagging on that turkey last summer!) Oh goodness!
