Little Pumpkin Head

We took a little trip down the street to a local pumpkin patch this morning! They weren't open yet, so we didn't get to buy any pumpkins, but we did get some pictures! And wouldn't you know it, as soon as we arrived, all smiles were OFF! We were acting like idiots trying to get Hudson to smile, but he would not even grin. He was however, very interested in the pumpkins and trying to eat the mulch from the ground. Nice!

And a special thank you to Grandma Barbara (Hudson's Austin grandma) for his adorable hand-knit pumpkin hat and booties! Aren't they sooo cute?! And coming soon...Hudson's Halloween costume!!

HSU Homecoming

We made a very quick trip to Abilene for Hardin-Simmons Homecoming on Friday. We got to see some of Dusty's college friends, have some West Texas Bar-B-Q, go to Sing, and hang around campus on Saturday. Dusty loved his experience at Hardin-Simmons and it was fun to see him want to share it with Hudson! I have my own memories of going to youth camp at Hardin-Simmons in high school, but I won't get into those right now! (Shout out to KB, EW, & JG!)

Dusty wanted his picture taken with Hudson at some of his favorite places on campus. And even though I would have preferred Hudson in red and black on Saturday, it was still fun! Maybe next year we'll head even further west for my homecoming!

Look who's sitting up!!

We've been practicing for a while, but he finally got the hang of it! It seems like just days ago he wanted to be swaddled. Ughh...they really do grow up fast!

I know...it's ridiculous!

We have first baby syndrome and we take wayyy too many pictures of Hudson! But Mimi and Granny live miles away and need to see pictures of their little cutie. Or so we're often told! And that's what the blog is for, right?! So, these are just for fun.
