Walking for Krista!

We headed to Gainesville this past weekend for the 2nd Annual Krista's Hustle! The walk helps raise money for her scholarship fund. It's hard to believe it has been a year, but I am so proud of her family for how they give back to others.

Hudson rode in his stroller the whole way, so he was ready to get out and be on the loose! Can't wait to walk again next year!

Preschool Dad's Night

Tonight was Dad's Night at our preschool. It was cowboy themed, so of course, there were pony rides! Hudson was in heaven! Have I mentioned that he LOVES animals? But I could not (as usual) get a good picture. He was laughing the whole ride, but I just couldn't capture it! Oh well, it was a fun night!

Fun with friends!

Hudson's friends Kate & Jack came over to play yesterday and all kinds of fun was had! It really is funny to watch them interact. Jack is walking now and Hudson thinks its the funniest thing! He's always ready for a good chase! And Kate was a great "help" with the boys!

Hudson also thinks that all the teenagers from the youth group are his friends too, so I included a picture I took on Sunday afternoon of Hudson and one of our faves, Parker. We had to apologize over and over to Parker, who was at our house to watch the Cowboy game, as Hudson brought EVERY book we own for him to read!

One Last Hoo-rah!

We made one last quick trip home to celebrate my dad's birthday and get in some cousin time before school is really off and running! If you can't tell, Hudson thinks he should just skip the toddler class and move on up to elementary school! He was bound and determined to keep up with his cousins on the waterslide...and he did a dang good job! He was not afraid to climb on up and slide right down, laughing the whole way! It was pretty funny! Please excuse our (ahem) white trash baby in his swim diaper only, mommy forgot his swimsuit! He really just wanted to show off his killer abs again! :)

Little Livi stayed in the shade and looked cute the whole time...next year! And Happy Birthday to Paw-Paw!!

First Day of School

It was back to school for both of us today. Hudson's starting the toddler class and I'm back to Pre-K! Hudson LOVES school! We could not be more happy about this. It makes it so much easier on us when he just walks right in and doesn't even look back...okay I'm lying, but we do love his independence! I checked on him a couple of times and he was playing hard each time...and then he crashed in the car on the way home! Preschool is hard people!

And so it begins...

Pink fever is spreading quickly!! This is what we found on Lyndsey's table last night when we arrived for dinner! Ellie's first pair of shoes and cookie cake for mommy!! And we received a Granny box in the mail on Friday (she is fast!) with several sweet pink outfits and socks! Thank you so much!

So Lyndsey is one of four girls and this morning her dad stopped us at church to congratulate us and he gave Dusty a sort of "good luck" pat on the back. He said, "You might as well go ahead and increase the limit on your credit card!" I thought Dusty was going to pass out in the pew! There will be no need for that, mommy is good at finding deals! And since we've known for all of five days and we're already being showered with pink, I think our credit card will be just fine!! :)
